I am a fellow at the Institute of Sociology, TU Darmstadt, as ZEVEDI Young Investigator. During this fellowship, I am on leave from my position as lecturer and senior researcher (Akademische Rätin) at Justus Liebig University Giessen. I lead a research project on Money as Data and co-lead a research project on Financial Infrastructures and Geoeconomic Security at the Collaborative Research Centre 138 Dynamics of Security.

Before, I was a visiting professor (Professurvertretung) of International Relations and International Political Economy at Goethe University Frankfurt and postdoctoral researcher at the FOLLOW project, supported by a Consolidator Grant of the European Research Council (ERC) and Research Associate at the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research, University of Amsterdam.

My research is based on the intersections of economic sociology, international political economy, and (critical) security studies. My empirical focus lies on financial technologies and (data) infrastructures.
